Police: Man facing drunk driving charges after crashing into house, running off

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— A Rochester man is facing multiple charges including drunk driving after police say he crashed into a house and ran from the scene Friday morning.

The crash happened on North Goodman Street near Bay Street around 12:30 a.m. When police got to the scene, they found the car, but not the driver.

There were people in the home at the time of the crash, but nobody was hurt. The driver was found a short distance away.

Police did not release his name, but said he is facing charges of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, and other traffic offenses.
