Police: Man fighting for his life after stabbing on MacBeth Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police say a man is fighting for his life after he was stabbed on the city’s east side early Thursday morning.

Police went to the scene on East Main Street near Mustard Street around 5:30 a.m. for the call of a man stabbed. Officers found the man with a stab wound to his upper body. He was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Police learned the man was originally stabbed on MacBeth Street, which is just over a half-mile away from where he was found.

MacBeth between Culver Road and Packard Street is currently closed to traffic.

Police have made no arrests, anyone with information is asked to call 911.
