Police: Runaway teens charged for carjacking elderly people

GREECE, N.Y. (WHEC) — Greece Police say two runaways from an Irondequoit group home are behind two crimes involving elderly people.
The first happened on Tuesday in the parking lot outside Marshall’s on Greece Ridge Center Drive.
Police say a 72-year-old woman was knocked down and her car was stolen.
Her damaged car was found Wednesday in Swatara Township, Pennsylvania.
Then on Friday, Swatara Township Police arrested two people for assaulting an elderly man and trying to take his car.
Payton Forgey, 18 and a 17-year-old are facing a list of charges.
The woman assaulted in Greece is recovering from a head injury.
