Police: Teenagers, Rochester man caught in connection to carjacking

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Rochester Police say two teenage boys and a man were caught by police in connection to a carjacking Sunday afternoon.

RPD says it first got a call of a woman who was robbed at gunpoint by the group around 1 p.m., on Ackerman Street. The group took her wallet, phone, and her car. Later, around 10 p.m. officers were on Clifford Avenue when they spotted the stolen car.

Police say they were able to safely take the three in. The ages are 15, 14, and 18.

No charges were announced.
