Police: Vehicle hit by gunfire in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police are searching for whoever fired a shot into a car on the city’s northeast side.
Officers responded to the area of Sigel Street, near Bay Street, around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say a vehicle with two women inside was struck by gunfire. They weren’t hit, but one of the women was cut by glass that shattered when the shots hit the car.
The 39-year-old was treated at the scene, police said.
