WASHINGTON, D.C. (WHEC/NBC) – President Biden returned to Washington, D.C. Monday morning in near whiteout conditions.
Shielding his eyes from the snow, Biden stepped off Air Force One after his New Year’s weekend in Delaware.
Before his plane landed, snow plows worked to clear out the runway at Joint Base Andrews.
Up to 10 inches of snow are expected to accumulate in Washington Monday.
The storm, along with ongoing staffing issues, has forced the cancelation of thousands of flights including several in and out of the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport.
