BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC)—Sunday wasn’t just a big day for the Buffalo Bills on the field at Highmark Stadium. it also marked the first day the stadium required fans to bring in proof of vaccination.
To recap, any fan 12 or older must have at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in order to go inside, and they’ll be required to show proof of it.
Those under 12 have to wear a mask at all times. It’s a rule that some fans we spoke to didn’t mind.
"It’s important, everybody should be vaccinated, Mike Sidley said. "it’s time that we realize this pandemic is real and we got to take precautions to protect everybody else around us, and I’m happy that I’m vaccinated."
Buffalo (2-1) will host the Houston Texans next Sunday at 1 p.m.
