Prosecutors: Rochester-area drug ring bust leads to 9 arrests

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A drug ring bust in the Rochester area led to nine arrests Tuesday.

Investigators executed a total of 32 search warrants on houses and cars. Federal prosecutors say the Drug Enforcement Agency, Rochester Police Department and Greece Police Department began looking into the drug trafficking back in 2020.

The investigation revealed the suspects were responsible for the distribution of large quantities of cocaine in the Rochester area.
Richmond Sutton, Roland Miller, Kenneth Sutton, Mohamed Diallo, Marcus Holmes, Dejounge Sharpe, Pamela Green, Daryl Green and Tavares Wilson were all charged.

Prosecutors say those charges include conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and distributing, five kilograms or more of cocaine.

If convicted, they face up to life in prison and a $10 million fine.
