CHILI, N.Y. (WHEC) — A public celebration of life for Brittanee Drexel is planned for next month in Chili.
After 13 years, Brittanee’s remains were found last week in a housing tract about 30 miles away from where she was last seen in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina back on April 25, 2009. She was only 17.
Her family can finally bring her home, put her to rest, and celebrate her life with the people who loved her and the community that supported them in their search for closure, and now in their pursuit of justice for their daughter.
The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 11 at 10 a.m. at The Fathers House at 715 Paul Rd. The public is welcome to attend.
Her family has set up a memorial fund and is asking for contributions to it in lieu of flowers. There is also an online guestbook that you can sign.
