Public meetings for Rochester Community Power renewable energy program begin Tuesday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) —Rochester neighbors Tuesday night will have their first chance to learn more about the city’s renewable energy program.

A public information session is being held to discuss Rochester community Power, a program News10NBC first told you about last week. The program aims to give access to renewable energy at a competitive rate.

You may have gotten a letter in the mail about it, and that means you’re already signed up. You can opt-out if you don’t want to make the switch.

The public meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be held over Zoom. There will be another meeting on Wednesday at noon. You can also call in by dialing 646-876-9923 and enter Webinar ID: 885 4028 7502.
