ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A growing number of New York voters want Gov. Andrew Cuomo to go.
That’s according to a new poll by Quinnipiac University, which found that of those polled, 70% said they think the governor should resign.
That includes 57% of Democrats and 88% of Republicans.
Of those polled, 55% said they think Cuomo should be charged with a crime based on the allegations of sexual harassment detailed in the state attorney general’s report.
In comparison, 49% of registered voters said Cuomo should not resign in the university’s March 18 poll, while 43% said he should resign.
