Rally and ride shows support for law enforcement in Orleans County and surrounding area

BROCKPORT, N.Y. (WHEC) — Supporters of local law enforcement offered some noisy support. They hit the road to honor the blue. The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, Holley Fire Department and a number of motorcyclists took off from Brockport to show their support.

This is the second year of the Back the Blue ride and rally.

Participants say they just want unity.

"Love of country, love of the neighbor, supporting each other, regardless of what you think or feel," said organizer Cherie Stuhler.

"We should not be divided and we need to come together, " she added.

State Senator Rob Ortt and former State Senator Joseph Robach attended the event.
