Red Wings: Sunday game postponed after IronPigs player has medical incident during Saturday’s doubleheader
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester Red Wings have postponed Sunday’s game after Lehigh Valley IronPigs infielder Daniel Brito suffered a medical incident during Saturday night’s doubleheader.
On Saturday, Brito suffered a medical emergency during the first inning and was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.
Due to the best interest of the players and coaches for both teams following the incident, the Red Wings decided to postpone Sunday’s game.
Today’s game against the IronPigs has been postponed in the best interest of the players & coaches for both teams following the medical emergency that occurred during game one of Saturday’s doubleheader.

The team says fans with tickets for Sunday and Saturday’s games will be able to exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value to any home game for the rest of the season, but exchanges will need to be made in person at the ticket office. For fans who have paid for parking for Saturday’s games can use their parking stub to park at any home game for the rest of the 2021 season.
Makeup information for both games will be announced at a later time.
