ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — For the first time since 2019, the Wings will be in Buffalo. Okay, we’re talking about the baseball team here, obviously.
The Rochester Red Wings will play the Buffalo Bisons on Aug.10, which will be the Bisons’ first game back in Buffalo in two years. The team announced on Twitter Monday the Wings will come to town as part of a four-game series.
Buffalo had been playing in New Jersey while Major League Baseball’s Toronto Blue Jays played home games at Sahlen Field. The Canadian government gave the Blue Jays the okay to return home at the end of July, which gave a path for the Bisons to take back the field.
We’re coming home, Buffalo!!! ????
