RESULTS: Dylan Walczyk competes in men’s freestyle skiing mogul finals
BEIJING (WHEC) – Dylan Walczyk competed in the men’s freestyle skiing mogul finals Saturday morning.
Walczyk passed his first test in his first Olympics finishing 10th out of 30 on Thursday, clearing the way for Saturday’s competition.
Walczyk put up a total score of 75.13. That put him in 16th place out of 20.
Unfortunately, only the top 12 finishers qualified. That means Walczyk’s run for a medal is over
Walczyk grew up in the Finger Lakes and trained at Bristol Mountain before moving to Colorado to continue his training.
JA Nation is proud of 2004 Jefferson Avenue Graduate Dylan Walczyk who is advancing to Saturday’s finals in the men’s skiing moguls for Team USA! JA and Raider Nation, let’s all get behind Dylan and Team USA! ????@FCSDtweets @usskiteam @FCSDSports @USskiteam1 pic.twitter.com/VT3sv6JuhM
