RG&E reporting only 200 still without power

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – More than 2,000 RG&E customers were without power, primarily in Greece and Irondequoit.

As of noon, about 1,300 people in Irondequoit lost power and another 900 in Greece. However those numbers dropped considerably with fewer than 200 still without power at 1 p.m.

No word on what caused the outages.

PLEASE BE AWARE: There is multiple outages being reported in the E Ridge Rd and Culver Rd areas of Town. Several households are out as well as traffic lights. If you are approached a dark traffic light please treat it as a four way stop and use caution. Avoid the are if possible.
