RGE: Power restored to more than 1k people in Monroe County

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Power has been restored to more than 1,000 people Monday, data from Rochester Gas and Electric shows.

A majority of the outages (more than 700 at one point) were reported in Brighton. At one point in the morning, more than 1,100 were in the dark.

A closer check of the stats shows power is expected to be back on by 2 p.m. No outages were reported for National Grid.

News10NBC reached out to RG&E for comment on a possible cause, but we have not heard back.
