ROCHESTER, NY (WHEC) – RIT Men’s Lacrosse (18-1) defeated Albion, 22-6 in the 2nd round of the NCAA Division III Men’s tournament at home. In the first ever meeting between the two, Fairport native Spencer Bell made an impression. The senior scored a season-high four goals.
As a whole, they outshot the Britons, 40-14, with just the third one of the day finding the back of the net thanks to Marley Angus. John Mozrall and Zeb Hollinger added a pair within the next three minutes as part of what turned out to be just the opening act. The Tigers then had spurts of seven, four, and eight goals, amounting to their best offensive outing since scoring 24 against Vassar on March 26th.
It lines them up to host tomorrow’s third round matchup against MIT, which defeated Amherst 13-12.
