‘ROC the Day’ raises more than $1 million for local charities

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) —Rochester, you ROC’d the Day on Tuesday!
Organizers of the annual Giving Tuesday event around the nine-county Greater Rochester area reported more than $1 million was raised for local nonprofit organizations. The money was raised to the tune of more than 9,100 donations.
Last year, the event also raised more than $1 million.
These were a list of causes people could donate to.
