ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester Broadway Theatre League (RBTL) Monday announced that it will soon require guests to show proof of vaccination in order to attend Auditorium Theatre performances.

The requirement for guests 12 and older will go into effect starting Saturday, Oct. 1, when guests must show proof of at least one dose of the vaccine. Starting on Nov. 8, 2021, all guests 12 and older must be fully-vaccinated.

Guests are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after their final dose of the Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.

The RBTL will accept a physical vaccination card, the NYS Excelsior Pass or other types of digital vaccine proof from outside New York State.

The RBTL will still require all guests to wear a mask during the duration of their visit to the Auditorium Theatre.

RBTL said those with questions or concerns can call the Auditorium Box Office at 585-222-5000 or mail@rbtl.org.
