Rochester fans happy the Bills are hanging on to Josh Allen

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — There were plenty of Bills fans at the Red Wings game Friday night.

They told News10NBC’s Stephanie Duprey they are very excited they’ll get to have Josh Allen as their quarterback for another six years.

All she had to say to fans was "How about the Bills?" and people knew exactly what we meant. They said Allen is the best quarterback they know.

Duprey asked a group of people if they were Bills fans, and they started screaming Allen’s name and jersey number.

"We are really excited that Josh Allen has signed another six years here in Buffalo,” Melissa Sharp said.

Fans are counting down the days until they get to see the Bills start making touchdowns. Allen’s contract extension has fans itching to start breaking tables.

“I think it was a really good move and hopefully we’ll be successful this year,” Julia Marshall Augustus said.

"He’s got tons of potential so we’ll see where he goes and maybe this year will be better,” Chuck Allan said.

Stephanie Duprey: “And how do you feel about them resigning him for another six years?”

Chuck Allan: “It’s a no-brainer, we got to get him.”

Other fans said they were excited to see other players too, like Stefon Diggs.
