Rochester in Focus: Pay Equity Coalition raising awareness
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Studies show the average Black woman in New York earns 65 cents for every dollar that a white non-Hispanic man makes.
For Latinas, it’s 56 cents to a dollar. It adds up to more than $20,000 a year in lost wages.
The Pay Equity Coalition hosted a rally this month to raise awareness.
