Rochester Independent Comics Expo to kick off this weekend

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The third annual Rochester Independent Comics Expo is this weekend.

Western New York Comics organized the event and the Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Art and Design is this year’s sponsor.

It’s all set for this Saturday, April 2 in Sibley Square from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A kick-off event is planned for Friday at The Strong National Museum of Play from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

You’ll be able to meet comic artists and explore Rochester’s comics culture at both.
