Rochester man pleads guilty to receipt of child pornography
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to receipt of child pornography.
The Western District of New York Wednesday announced that Joshua Sattora, 37, pleaded guilty.
The charges stem from an investigation that spanned from Dec. 26, 2017, through Aug. 13, 2018.
Prosecutors say in that time frame, Sattora and co-defendant Rebecca Woodin texted back and forth and Woodin sent approximately 14 sexually explicit images of a minor to Sattora and Sattora also sent images of child pornography to Woodin.
When Sattora’s electronic devices were searched, law enforcement found at least 923 images and 362 videos of child pornography on two cellular telephones and three computers.
Woodin was previously convicted and is awaiting sentencing.
Sattora is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 3. He faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison and a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
