Rochester man sentenced to 30 years in prison for producing child pornography

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man was sentenced to 30 years in prison after he was convicted of producing child pornography.
Jeremy Hernandez, 30, uploaded child porn to Tumblr, a blogging website, in September and October of 2018. The website alerted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about it, which then informed New York State Police investigators.
On Oct. 24, 2019, a search warrant was executed and investigators seized several digital devices from Hernandez, including two cell phones.
Prosecutors say investigators found images and videos of Hernandez sexually abusing a minor on multiple occasions.
He was also sentenced to 15 years of supervised release.
