Rochester man shot on Lewis Street

In the early hours of Sunday, a Rochester man was shot at least once on Lewis Street between Union Street and Scio Street in Rochester.
When police arrived on the scene just before 1 a.m., they found the 29-year-old man with at least one gunshot wound. The man, a city resident, was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. His injuries are described as "non-life threatening," and he is expected to survive.
The area where the incident occurred isn’t far from the city’s Public Market district. No arrests have been made in connection to this shooting. Police ask anyone with information to call 911.
