Rochester man shot several times, seriously injured but expected to survive

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man is seriously injured but expected to survive after a shooting late Monday morning.
Police say they received a call just before 11:30 a.m. saying shots were fired near Avenue A and Hollenbeck Street and that someone may have been hit.
When they arrived, police say they did find evidence that shots were fired, but did not find a victim.
Shortly after, a 36-year-old man arrived at Rochester General Hospital with several gunshot wounds.
Police are still investigating.
