Rochester Police: 1 shot on Scrantom Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Rochester Police are searching for a shooter after a man was shot on the city’s north side Friday morning.
The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. on Scrantom Street, between Hawkins Streets and Conkey Avenue. Police went to the scene and found a man in his 20’s with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
At the scene itself– police shut it down looking for the shooter, or more victims, they didn’t find any. No arrests have been made.
