Rochester Police: 2 people hurt in separate overnight shooting, stabbing
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Rochester Police say two people were hospitalized in two separate incidents Sunday morning.
Police first went to a call for someone stabbed on Monroe Avenue near Woodlawn Street around 12:45 a.m. When officers got to the scene, they found a 33-year-old man who was stabbed at least once.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
About two hours later, officers were called to North Winton Road for a report of shots fired. At the same time officers responded, a 23-year-old man showed up at the hospital in a separate car with a gunshot wound. Police found out he was shot at the same address.
No arrests have been made in either case. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
