Rochester Police: At least 5 people shot, 1 killed across 3 overnight shootings

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Rochester Police say five people were shot, and one person was killed in three separate shooting incidents Friday morning.
The scenes are:
- Helena street near Hudson Avenue- RPD went to the area for a report of a person shot shortly before 1 a.m. When they got to the scene, officers found a man with a gunshot wound. At the same time, police heard a woman showed up at Rochester General Hospital also with a gunshot wound. The man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. Both are expected to survive. No arrests have been made.
- Cummings Street between Clifford Avenue and Bay Street- Now confirmed as a deadly double shooting. Story here.

- Portland Avenue near Clifford Avenue- Police responded to a call of a man shot around 12:22 a.m. When they got to the scene they say they found evidence that somebody was shot, but no victim. At the same time, police were told the man showed up at Strong Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He’s expected to survive, and no arrests have been made.
All of these shootings happened from about midnight to 1 a.m.
