Rochester Police: House with kids inside hit by bullets

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police say nobody was hurt when somebody fired off several bullets into a room at a home where three children were sleeping inside Monday night.

Officers went to the scene on Melville Street near Culver Road for a report of people fighting in the street. When they got to the scene, they didn’t find anything at first, but then a call came in about the home.

Police then found the home had been hit. Officers say the children inside are between the ages of two and eight. But, as mentioned, nobody got hit.

Police have made no arrests.
