Rochester Police investigating after shots fired into Sherwood Avenue home
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police are investigating after several shots were fired into a home Friday night.
It happened just before 9:30 p.m. on the 130 block of Sherwood Avenue, which is near Thurston Road and Arnett Boulevard on the city’s west side.
Police say no one was injured, but that anytime shots are fired, especially into an occupied home, it comes with a risk that someone will be hurt or killed.
Police say they aren’t sure what led to the shots being fired, and they’re conducting an investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
