Rochester Police: Man seriously hurt in stabbing on Carter Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police said a woman is in custody Saturday morning for an overnight stabbing.

Officers were called to Carter Street just after midnight.

There they found a man with a significant injury.

Rochester Police said he was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Officers say a Rochester woman was taken into custody, but have not announced any charges or a motive for the attack.
