Rochester Police: Man shot on 5th Street
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Rochester Police say a man is recovering from a gunshot after he was shot early Wednesday morning.
Police went to the scene on 5th Street near Central Park around 12:30 a.m. for calls of multiple gunshots. When officers got there, they found evidence of a shooting, but no victim.
A short time later, police say the man showed up at Rochester General Hospital in a private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the upper body. The man told police he was shot on 5th Street.
He’s expected to survive.
Police made no arrests. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
