ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) —Rochester Police say a driver was ticketed in connection to a crash that sent an officer to the hospital Friday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of Carter and Norton streets shortly before 3 a.m.
Investigators at the scene told News10NBC they are still trying to determine the cause of the crash. RPD did say the officer is expected to be okay, and the people in the other car were not hurt.
RPD says the driver was given tickets for running a red light and using his phone while driving.
