Rochester Police: Rochester man in critical condition after Bay Street shooting

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man is in critical condition after a shooting on Bay Street early Saturday morning.

On Saturday, police responded to the 800 block of Bay Street just before 1:00 a.m. to a report of a man shot.

They found a Rochester man in his 40’s shot at least once. He was taken to Strong Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

While officers were on scene, they learned another man in his 40’s was shot at the same location.

He was taken to Strong Hospital by a private car and treated for minor injuries.

Police say no suspects are in custody and are asking anyone with information is asked to call 911.
