Rochester St. Patrick’s Day Parade picks theme

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — "The Trinity and the Shamrock" will be the theme of Rochester’s 2022 St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
In November, the announcement was made that the parade would return to Rochester on Saturday, March 12 at 12:30 p.m. Now all the details are falling in place.
More than 100 entries, 3,000 marchers, 12 bands and seven dance schools will put on the festive performance that draws over 100,000 spectators each year.
The Grand Marshal will be the Radio Station WHAM who are celebrating 100 years of broadcasting. Other Honorees include Citizen of the Year, Marianne Tucker, and Sportsperson of the Year, Don Stevens.

The parade kicks off at the corner of East Ave. at Alexander Street, traveling to Main Street and Fitzhugh.
