Rochester woman pleads guilty in stabbing death of her boyfriend
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester woman pleaded guilty to a manslaughter charge in connection with the death of her boyfriend last year.
The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office Friday says 24-year-old Breanna Kelly made the plea following her previous indictment on the charge.
Prosecutors say she stabbed Kevin Hines, 31, on Mazda Terrace on Aug.27, 2020. Hines was found outside a home with at least one stab wound to his torso, police said. Kelly then allegedly hit him with her car as she was leaving the scene.
Hines was pronounced dead at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Sentencing is scheduled for Nov.10.
