RPD: 2 dead, 2 injured in shooting on State Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Two people are dead and two others are injured after a shooting on State Street early Sunday morning.

Rochester Police responded just before 2:00 a.m to the 400 block of State Street for the report of multiple people shot.

Police confirm the shooting happened at 471 State Street which is addressed to Mile High Hookah Lounge in Rochester.

While on scene, officers found a man in his 20’s who had been who had been shot at least once. He was taken to Strong Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Three additional shooting victims arrived at Strong Hospital by private cars. Police say of those victims, a man in his 30’s, died from his injuries.

The other two victims are males in their 20’s and are in stable condition.

There are no suspects in custody.

RPD say this is a very active scene and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
