RPD: 2 women shot after large after-hours party on Lincoln Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Two women are recovering in the hospital after being shot on Lincoln Avenue early Saturday morning.
Rochester Police responded around 2:20 a.m. to Lincoln Avenue for the report of a woman shot.
Upon arrival, officers found a 23-year-old woman that was shot at least once in the torso. The woman was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police say a 22-year-old woman was also shot at least once in the lower extremities but was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle.
Both are expected to survive.
Investigators determined that a large after-hours party occurred at the location and several altercations ensued.
No one is in custody at this time and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
