RPD: 21-year-old man shot on Garson Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police are investigating after a 21-year-old man was shot on the city’s east side Saturday afternoon.

Rochester Police responded around 1:30 p.m. to the 700 block of Garson Avenue for the report of a man shot.

Upon arrival, officers found a 21-year-old man from Rochester who was shot at least once in the lower body.

The man was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive.

There are no suspects in custody at this time.
