RPD: Child hit by car

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester police say an 11-year-old was hit by a car Wednesday morning.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., police responded the area of Webster Avenue and Ackerman Street for the report of a person struck.
Police found that an 11-year-old child entered the roadway and was struck by a passing car. Police say the child was transported to Rochester General Hospital with minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation and no citations have been issued at this time.
