RPD: Delivery driver stabbed, seriously injured on Lehigh Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A delivery driver is hospitalized with serious injuries after being stabbed on the city’s southwest side late Thursday night.

Rochester Police responded around 11:45 p.m. to the 100 block of Lehigh Avenue for the report of a man stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers found a 35-year-old man, who was stabbed at least once in the upper body.

The man was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.

Investigators say the man is a delivery driver and was delivering food in the area when the stabbing occurred.

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
