RPD looking for four after apparent carjacking in Northeast Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are looking for four people who ran from an apparent stolen car that crashed on the city’s northeast side.
The RPD says the vehicle crashed at Hempel and Harvest Streets after an officer started following it from the area of Central Park and First Street Sunday afternoon just before 4:30 p.m.
The vehicle was reported stolen at knifepoint less than two blocks away in the Renwood Street area just before 8:00 p.m. Friday night, according to police.
