RPD: Man shot on Dewey Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Rochester Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the late afternoon Sunday on Dewey Avenue.
Shortly after 2:00 p.m., police responded to the report of a male shot in the upper body on the 600 block of Dewey Avenue.
Officers located the 54-year-old male and he was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
There are no suspects in custody at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
The investigation is ongoing.
