RPD: Officers investigating overnight shooting

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police are investigating an overnight shooting Saturday morning.
Rochester Police Officers responded to Strong Memorial Hospital just after 3:00 a.m. for a male who came to the hospital with at least one gunshot wound to his midsection.
Officers are still looking into where the shooting took place and are still investigating the circumstances behind how he was shot.
Police say the victim is a 39-year-old city resident.
His injuries were deemed non-life threatening.
