ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Violent crimes in Rochester can take a toll on the police officers responding to them. As an act of gratitude, AT&T is giving RPD free lunch on Thursday and Friday.
The technology company is buying 200 lunches to be given out Thursday and Friday at two of the local RPD stations. The lunches will come from two popular food trucks: Chef’s Mobile Kitchen and Everything is Good.
AT&T said it wanted to offer the free lunch as a way to show appreciation as they continue to patrol the streets throughout the COVID pandemic.
