RPD release names of 4 protesters arrested at Rochester Locust Club Thursday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police have released the names of protesters who were arrested outside the Rochester Locust Club after Thursday’s press conference.

Ashley Gantt, 34, Mary Adams, 54, Amanda Flannery, 33, and Ricardo Adams, 65, were all charged with trespassing and have been issued appearance tickets.

On Thursday, the lawyers representing the seven RPD officers who are currently suspended with pay spoke for the first time, claiming the officers were following their training when they restrained and handcuffed Daniel Prude on March 23.

During the conference, lawyers provided additional body camera video and a training video from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, showing officers using the same restraints that were used on Prude when he stopped breathing.
