RPD: Rochester man shot near Joseph Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A 28-year-old male city resident was shot in his lower body Sunday evening.

According to Rochester Police Department, this incident occurred Sunday evening outside in the area of Joseph Avenue and Joseph Place. He was transported by ambulance to URMC, where his injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in the shooting. Since this is an ongoing investigation, Rochester Police ask that anyone with information regarding the shooting call 911.
