RPD: Woman stabbed late Sunday night

ROCHESTER, N .Y. (WHEC) — Just before midnight Sunday, police got a call for the report of a woman who had been shot. However, it was later determined that she was not shot, but stabbed to her lower body.

The incident happened at the 1000 block of Lyell Ave.

The woman, 18 years old, was taken to Strong Hospital and is being treated for serious but non-life threatening injury.

No suspects are in custody at this time.
